The Briggs B358107 Biscuit Trip Lever comes complete with the nut. This lever comes in a biscuit finish. Therefore it is a light tan color. This lever comes with the nut. Also the holes in the lever are for the hook from the flapper to connect. The handle itself is plastic. Also the nut and the arm of the lever are plastic. Therefore they will not rust and last longer.
The nut that comes with the lever has a hex on one side and flat on the other. Therefore the flat end will go toward the handle against the tank. And the hex will face out toward the end of the lever. This lever is a genuine Briggs replacement part. Therefore it will replace the lever on many Briggs tanks. However this lever only works with the tanks listed.
