If the faucet is leaking from the spout when shut off it is most likely due the rubber seat washer located at the end of the stem assembly. If the washer is cracked it will allow the water to pass through, and leak from the spout. The rubber seat washer can be located in the Arrowhead Brass PK1000 stem seal kit. The kit will also include the handle screw, two nylon washer, and the seat screw. The kit is a complete stem rebuild kit, and should resolve the issue.
