Kohler 98993 Complete Tank Rebuild Kit

Kohler 98993 toilet tank rebuild kit for tank model 98993. This kit will contain all the genuine Kohler parts to rebuild the tank. This kit includes fill valve 1083167 (GP1083167), flush valve 1216612, flush valve gasket GP83996, and chrome trip lever 1158701-CP.  Before installing the fill valve it is extremely important that you flush the stop out. To do this you would place the end of the supply line that connects to the fill valve into an empty bucket. Once it is in the bucket turn the valve at the wall on, and allow the water to run through the line for a few seconds. Turn the water off, and back on. Repeat this process at least 2 to 3 times. This will insure no debris in the line, or stop valve flows directly into the new fill valve.
