Genuine Simmons 3/4" valve body. This valve body is stainless steel. This is the part that connects the hydrant to the plumbing. It also is the piece that the plunger sits in. The small threaded hole on the side of the valve body is called the weep, or drain hole. This part of the body allows for the excess water in the pipe to drain.
