Arrowhead Brass ABP PK-ICE Vent Assembly. Genuine Arrowhead Brass (ABP) vacuum breaker cap for the ICE series faucet. Also, This kit contains the blue vent cap, breaker, and pop it.
ICEBREAKER freeze-proof hydrants utilize a patented vent that prevents the hydrant from rupturing if water freezes in the hydrant during cold temperatures. If bursting occurs, the ICEBREAKER vent cap will burst to protect the wall hydrant from damage. Also, The ICEBREAKER vent cap is easily replaceable. And can be used to upgrade existing Arrowhead Brass 420-series frost-proof hydrants. IceBreaker Champion-Arrowhead.
This Arrowhead ICEBREAKER was made to break before the faucet could freeze. Therefore the cap will snap off if it freezes. The breaker comes complete with the pop it and the o-ring. To get the cap on and off you jut snap it on. The cap has a ring around the inside where it clips on.
