How To Identify Mansfield Tank Lid

We are frequently asked by customers, "How do I identify my Mansfield tank lid?" Sometimes identifying the tank lid can be very difficult. Especially when there are no numbers shown, or the tank lid has been shattered. The best location to check first would be on the underside of the tank lid itself. The number is most commonly on the left, or right hand corner of the tank lid. Usually it is shown next to the letters MPP. If the tank lid is shattered, or you are not able to find any numbers on the underside of the lid. The next place to check is inside of the toilet tank on the backwall. Usually if the tank number is visible it will appear to be a marker, or sharpie. It will say Mansfield Model No. There may also be an inspection number shown inside of the tank. This is not the tank model number, and we cannot use the inspection number to identify the tank. If there are no numbers shown on the underside of the tank lid, or inside of the tank. You are more than welcome to email us at support@griggindustries.com with pictures of the complete toilet with the toilet seat down showing the overall look, and shape of the toilet. We would also need pictures of the underside of the tank lid (If Possible), and a picture from above the tank with the lid off showing all of the parts inside of the tank. If you where able to locate the number. You can CLICK HERE to select your model number, and find all of the replacement parts for your toilet!
