Arrowhead Brass 480 Series Leaking Water From The Spout Troubleshooting

If the water is leaking from where the hose goes on, that means that the rubber on the end of the stem is bad, and needs replaced. Arrowhead Brass offers the PK1000 kit contains the seat washer, seat washer screw, nylon bonnet washer, and handle screw. This kit should stop the water from dripping out of the spout.

If the faucet has been dripping out of the spout for a long period of time, there is a chance that the seat is cut. The seat will get cut by the water pressure over time. Once the groove is cut in the seat, the washer can no longer cover the seat all the way. If the faucet has been leaking for a long time, and the PK1000 kit does not work you would need to consider replacing the complete faucet.
