If you faucet is leaking through the weep hole in the stem behind the handle, it is caused by the faucet being under constant pressure for too long. These faucets are not designed to be under pressure for more than 12 hours at a time. This constant pressure causing the water going through the faucet to escape the pressure. Which leads to it going through the small hole in the stem. The stem has been compromised at this point and will need to be replaced.
